Introduction

The Samaritan Befrienders Hong Kong was founded in year of 1960, we follow the generosity and benevolence of the Good Samaritan in the Bible who always stretched forth a helping hand to the distressed and helpless. Through the giving of support and rendering emotional counselling to those in need, we help them to help themselves. We provide various professional services in fields of Suicide Prevention and Mental Health in Hong Kong for 66 years. Services included with the 24-Hour Emotional Support Hotline services by the “Hotline Centre”, outreaching educational services by the “Life Education Centre” in school campuses, suicide crisis intervention services by the “Suicide Crisis Intervention Centre” and the “Ur-Link Professional Training & Development Centre” which provides professional training services with public courses, organization & corporate training & seminars to enhance people’s emotional management skills as well as skills on helping others.
 

Objectives

In order to raise public awarenesses of suicide prevention and knowledge, we are thrilled to announce the launching of SBHK "Run For Life" Charity Run 2027 cum Let's Move Together Carnival will be held in March 2027. We sincerely invite public to join us in spreading positive messages of happiness and fundraising for our professional counselling and consulting services and developments.
